Also, Nintendo has cooled its lawyer's a bit over the decade and I can't see that they would care unless there is hundreds of thousands in profits or massive popularity. Its just true, enjoy the game or not, this is a question of ones moral compass. A game like this I would expect to be ether a free game shown to showcase amateur devs their skills or a Chinese knock off. This game however literally took a template of zelda snes and swap out a few things here and there or a new line of story/npc conversation. Games like Moon Lighter, is very close to Zelda-nes, but is different enough artistically(not just style) to where it has a mini game of selling stuff. But the art is a bit different, which is one of the few more unique aspects to games, particularly older ones. Hey, thanks for the comment and feedback the game is, of course, inspired by the Zelda games. And Im never against any good new indie ones as Nintendo didnt make a fully new entry in decades (the last two being remakes and reimaginings of previous entries). You don't see the difference of assets? copying a games play style, mechanics and such is pretty common. Its a top-down action/adventure game after all. Dev could have made some effort to make them unique but copy paste is quicker. Originally posted by NormireX:No, the assets and even color pallette are the same as A Link to the Past.
